New album selling well despite downturn in industry, Raymond Lam is succeeding in TV and singing

The music industry has experienced a downturn, causing the albums market to retract. But this doesn’t seem to affect EEG’s Lam Fung, his debut album sold well, his second album “Your Love” has sold over 10,000 copies and now a new version of another 10,000 copies has been released. About this Fung said with excitement, “I ordered 100 copies of the first version as gifts for my friends, but they couldn’t give me any CDs. Actually they don’t have any copies left, really happy. It was unexpected that my second album is selling better than the first one, very thankful of those fans who have supported me. Later there will be a function to celebrate!” He openly admitted, “Besides acting, I would like to receive more recognition in music, because I really put in a lot of dedication to singing.”

It has been said that TVB helped him a lot in the album sales, he said, “Of course. Releasing an album with a series will help a lot, TVB have always looked after me!” The day before yesterday at 5.30pm Fung held an autograph function at Causeway Bay to thank his fans’ support, and attracted a crowd of over 100. Fung revealed after the busy album promotions, he will leave HK and film a Mainland China TV series in early October. Is he worried that his popularity will be affected and his “TV King” stolen? He smiles and says, “Well I still need to make money, save up for marriage, I will definitely attend TVB’s anniversary.”
